I’m a huge Honeybook fan. I invested in it a few years ago right as my business was ramping up, and there’s not a subscription I’m more confident in than it. This post is for all creatives, not just filmmakers.
Why do I love it?
That’s an easy one. Because it makes life simple.
All of my inquiries from my website go directly to my email. From here, I can send on my intro + pricing guides to potential clients, creating a new “project” in their name. Honeybook offers the ability to design your own guides + brochures, and they link directly in. So when a client makes a selection, it automatically makes a new proposal + invoice for me. I look over it, + press send!
You can set up your own workflow that projects float through - and have automated steps for each one. And my favourite part - when I need to find a piece of info about a project, I have everything in one place.
I’ve used Honeybook with varying types of clients through-out the years - for weddings, photo sessions, design projects, etc. And there’s not one that it doesn’t fit my needs for.
